Indigenous Health
Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health is important to everyone, but the Indigenous community especially has much healing to do as a result of centuries of abuse and trauma. Here, we want to have a database for all health and wellness services that are offered specifically to the Indigenous communities. If you know of any others we can add to this databank, please feel free to contact us. There is also a health-centric Indigenous Support Line for Albertans: 1-844-944-4744.
Native Counselling Services of Alberta
Today, and every day, we ask our non-Indigenous allies to take an active role in the path towards reconciliation. While the intents and impacts of contact and colonization continue to affect us, we are still here. We turn to our languages, cultures, and ceremonies to guide us as Indigenous peoples.
